We often hear of mentoring programs for troubled young people, but we don’t often consider how powerful mentorship actually is for anyone. Mentoring shouldn’t be just restricted to children in need (although these kids certainly need mentorship). People of all ages need a mentor.
In this section, you will learn about how powerful mentorship can be when used properly and Biblical principles outline this. Through scriptures, you can learn why mentors are needed and you can learn what a good mentor will do.
You will also see that even some of the most accomplished men, like Paul the apostle and Moses needed mentorship. That’s because every single person can learn something from someone else.
In this section, we will discuss two major things: scriptures that discuss the important principles of a mentor and the stories of actual mentoring relationships found throughout the Old and New Testament. This all culminates with Jesus and His disciples, which is the ultimate mentor/mentee relationship.
The Bible certainly makes it very clear that mentorship is not only a good thing, but also a very much needed thing. You will learn throughout these articles that many of the lessons written thousands of years ago still apply to today and our modern society.
Are you ready to embark on a learning experience? Are you ready to understand the true importance of mentorship?
Know that I am sending you the best that God has to offer you and I will see you up, up, and over the top.
